Looking for that winter wonderland? You found it! Less than an hour from the hotel, Røldal Ski Resort offers perhaps one of Europe’s best freeride skiing, as well as ample opportunity for everything from snowboarding to cross country, slalom, sledding as well as courses such as ski schools and courses for those who wants to learn. The bus ticket can be booked when booking a room, or purchased separately. 

Røldal has more than 50 mountaintops of 1000 metres or more in the surrounding area, and with the extraordinary amounts of snow each year, it is usually a safe bet for any and all snow-based activities. The resort has 7 surface lifts, and 2 chair lifts, with lift passes available for purchasable in the hotel reception or over the counter when arriving in Røldal. 

Along the way you’ll be enveloped by Norway’s unspoilt natural beauty – travelling in winter, when the vicinity is a winter-wonderland, immersed in snow-covered backdrops and whitewashed scenic splendour. Remember to bring along warm clothing and suitable footwear, and get ready for a world away from the everyday.
