The autumn and winter lights

In Norway, the word for the period between late autumn and winter is directly translated to "the dark time". We however, always find that the light in the dark is truly an experience like no other.

In autumn, the low position of the sun and humidity from the fjord and the western Norway rain creates beautiful pink and orange skies. In winter, the snow-covered mountains and blue fjord reflects the soft light from the sky, creating what is usually referred to as "the blue hour".
